Veterinary Residencies and Internships
Graduate Veterinary Medical Education
Our training program helps fulfill requirements for board certification.

The Veterinary Clinical Sciences department offers internships and residencies in anesthesiology, cardiology, diagnostic imagine, exotics, equine medicine, integrative medicine and rehabilitation internal medicine, neurology, oncology, small animal sports medicine, large and small animal surgery, large animal theriogenology, and emergency and critical care medicine.

Most intern and residencies are filled through the Veterinary Internship and Residency Matching Program sponsored by the American Association of Veterinary Clinicians.  To apply for a WSU Diagnostic Imaging residency or internships, application information is on our website.  WSU is a member institution of the AAVC.

Our training program helps fulfill requirements for board certification in these clinical specialties. Applicants must hold a DVM degree or equivalent from an AVMA accredited institution.

Residents and interns are also encouraged to simultaneously complete a master’s or doctoral degree in Veterinary Clinical and Translational Sciences.
